I am a dedicated education professional currently serving as an Instructor at the university level, with a strong foundation in primary education and literacy development. My qualifications include an Associate Degree in Human Resource Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Education specializing in Special Needs and Primary Education, a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Literacy Instruction, and I am presently pursuing my doctoral studies. My professional experience spans sixteen years as a primary school teacher and SEA tutor, where I developed expertise in curriculum design, differentiated instruction, and student assessment, before transitioning into higher education where I now teach, design courses, and support teacher development. I am deeply committed to fostering literacy, academic excellence, and lifelong learning, while continuously engaging in research and professional growth to enhance educational outcomes within Trinidad and Tobago.
